Research & Internships

Conducting research and interning in industry (research or non-research) are excellent ways to discern if you want or need to pursue graduate education.  Everything you do does not have to be directly related to what you hope to study in graduate school. Other experiences help us decide what we don’t want to do and still give us valuable skills that transfer into what we do want to do. Gaining experience presenting your research in a professional setting is also good experience.
